Test server how-to?

The resources linked to in the topics refer to the dead eve wiki.
All other available resources seem out of date.
I remember the latest instructions being something like copy your programm files EVE folder to something and point it to the same shared cache and launch it with eve.exe" /server:Singularity in the shortcut, but this just gives me a black screen.

Is there an up-to-date how-to that's not hosted on a deprecated unavailable resource?

I can't tell if this is still the correct way to log into SISI, but I get a black/nonresponsive launcher as well.

It seems that you can no longer use the old launcher method to connect to Singularity. You have to download the new launcher and select it from the drop down menu, however any who are like me and need to log in using steam credentials and those who have added an eve username/password to their steam created account are basically barred from the test server until the next mirror.

Download the new launcher and get on to SiSi from there. It's actually really good, you can also launch multiple accounts at the same time on Tranq.

The new pages about test servers are available at https://community.eveonline.com/support/test-servers/. Sorry for being lazy with updating the sticky threads, I´ll take a look now.

The old launcher is currently having a hard time on Singularity after the server move (and Singularity itself also has more downtimes than normal)- we hope to have it properly fixed in the next few days (probably after Easter) - but best would be anyway to switch to the new launcher, which makes it much easier to connect to Singularity.

It looks like the singularity page (https://community.eveonline.com/support/test-servers/singularity/) links to an old wiki page for player commands (https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Singularity_player_commands?_ga=1.263990732.1783843376.1447899542). Any chance it could be moved over?

Incase anyone want to have shortcuts on their desktop even with the new launcher.

Make shortcut from C:/EVE/SharedCache/sisi/bin/exefiles.exe in your desired spot.

Then open properties on the shortcut and insert in target

C:\EVE\SharedCache\sisi\bin\exefile.exe /server:Singularity

Open Launcher after cluster shutdowns to make sure the client is up to date. Close it after.

Run shortcuts.
