Bad luck, bug or stealth change - Are 0.0 WHs gone for good?

I have been scanning a couple of 0.0 systems quite regularly for awhile now.

Since a few weeks (probably since the March release?) I cannot seem to find any wormhole any more.
More precisely: no outgoing wormhole.
I recall one X702 which was rare before, but there was NOTHING else, except for few K162s and most were frig size holes.

Since about the same time, Data sites are spawning faster than one can say "hack the container".

Anyone having made the same observations?
Have wormhole spawns in nullsec been altered/removed?
Did I miss any announcement?
Or ist it just bad luck? (2 weeks in a row seem VERY unlikely)

they are still there, through some experience in scanning in from null, there's typically 3-5 (x702')s per region,

what's probably happening is they are spawning some distance from where you are, or are in a dead end pocket no one travels to.

I am slumming it in the Shenda / Afrah pocket area of Aridia (c. 15 systems).

I get on average 3-8 S199's from lowsec out to nullsec every week. I get maybe 1-2 K162's to nullsec into lowsec every week.

I also get dozens of C3's, some of which have K346 exits (ie; i go in via X702), most of which are empty and hence not available on the nullsec end.

This is a definite skew towards me originating the connections, versus nullbears doing so.

Therefore, I think that there is definitely a preponderance for null-low and null-C2-3 traffic coming from the lowsec or wormhole originators, and not the other way around. This means that there may indeed be less N944's in nullsec and X702's, but also quite reasonable to assume the majority aren't even probed out regularly.
