I thought I liked CODE., but I was very wrong. I was surprised they are so stingy. They have a lot of ISK every day, billions, from ganking freighters on the Jita route. And donations. But James 315 himself said to me I can try to get a donation of 100mil isk my translation of The New Halaima Code of Conduct. I digitally burned it, it's gone to no-vapor. How sad to get so much and even still be so stingy. It is a mark of a small and holding onto little things mind. Bah, it was my mistake.

I tried to do Lt. Frank Drebin.

Yes. I thought CODE. is a future operation and has a bigger plan or long-term idea. They do not have the idea of building intangible ideas assistance support, it appears. That is to say, they are just a group of short-term lulz philistines.

I tried to do Lt. Frank Drebin.

Posting in a... I don't get what point the OP is trying to make.. Maybe I'll get it when waking up tomorrow...

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

Who is the cheap one here really? CODE. asking for a measly 100m ISK, or you unwilling to part with such a paltry sum?

Hello OP

I did not quite get what the problem is from your posting here. Can you elaborate a bit more? I am sure once everything is on the table we will find a solution which is good for everyone.

Send me 100 million and I'll translate your OP.

I swear, that's good value. It's going to take quite a while to figure it out first.

Oh look a throwaway 2 month old alt starting a thread about CODE.
Because they can't start threads about themselves can they?
You guys need more tricks, or at least another one.

I'm sorry, I will explain again. I can translate English into Japanese much better than I can write in English. I translated The New Halaima Code of Conduct into Japanese. It was a difficult project, because the text has many instances of irony. If I translate directly into Japanese, the double meanings and irony humor will not be there. So I must think carefully how to express in Japanese language, so Japanese players can understand the real meaning. But I also must not explain directly, because it will eliminate the humor of the text. It was necessary to think carefully many times and rephrase many times.

Then at the end I was finished and at last satisfied about the translation. I asked CODE. for 1bil isk, because I thought it is fair and it is a small amount for them, but it is a large amount for an individual new player. But one person said it is too expensive, another person said I should donate it for free. Then the main boss said no, but maybe another person will give 100 mil. That is why I say CODE. is too stingy. It is not important, I just wanted to say it. So I said it.

I tried to do Lt. Frank Drebin.

Wait....

You did work on something and then went to a person saying did this... give me MONEY.

That is not how business works. You agree on a set fee to produce a piece of work of a certain quality and then is paid for it once the client is happy.

Wish you were in a corp since I figure you would an easy target for a ransom demand.

Did you negotiate a contract with Code to translate it? If not then why expect them to pay for something they do not want?

Simple thing is to get an expression of interest and negotiate a price before embarking on something.

For your own sake, don't.

You got stolen from; don't give money to strangers. Lesson learned.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?
