Ship: Sansha Carrier

One of the ship classes not covered by factions is the carrier. There is of course the revenant, a sansha supercarrier, but nothing in between that and the nightmare.

In line with the coming changes to fighter mechanics (which after testing on sisi, I think will make carriers a lot more fun to fly), it would be super cool to have a Sansha carrier to bridge the gap between the Nightmare and the Revenant - which would both add content for PVEers who run incursions (from which the PBCs would presumably drop), and add a cool new ship to the game to go with all the new fighter mechanics that are being introduced.

HP + Fitting:
- Same resist profile as the revenant, but base HP roughly equivalent to the Chimera (this is consistent with the Sansha theme, since the revenant has more base shield HP than armor, like a wyvern but with slightly different resists)
- 5 High Slots, 7 mids, 5 lows

Role Bonuses:
+25% Damage Bonus to all Fighters
+30% Bonus to afterburner and microwarp drive velocity (this is in line with the Sansha role bonuses and the release of new capital sized prop modules - but since Sig Radius bloom from MWDs means nothing on an enormous ship, the bonus would apply to MWDs as well instead of just afterburners)

Blueprint copies would drop from hisec and lowsec incursions, with a drop frequency which would put the price point including build cost around 2.5-3 bil.

Hisec incursion income should be nerfed into the ground, not buffed.

You're looking for the Revenant, the BPC for which seems to have been left out of the drop tables.

Or maybe it's in one of those never-before-found exploration sites.

A signature :o

He said his was to fill the gap of the missing carrier. Revanents are super carriers.

I think it would be worth it for CCP to invest time in faction capitals. Start adding carriers and dreads anyway, maybe supers later.

Sepentis and Angels can get dreads, Guistas a carrier, Sisters and Mordus carriers.

Because the best ISK making potential should not occur in the safest space.

If anything it should be a Gurista one. With only two drones to rule them all (heavy fighter Geckos). Muahhahahahaha

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

Okay, that's fair enough. But, after that it could happen.

You first. Why should the whole risk vs reward thing be completely upset by totally safe isk firehoses in highsec?

Risk vs reward.

There is no risk in a highsec incursion, yet that is where you get one of if not the best rewards. Why is that good.

I'm just giving you $hit. I know what you're saying and it's a valid point, but incursions aren't a risk free enterprise. The rats are tougher but can be over come easily enough. You need enough of a support fleet to run the sites or else it's pointless. You can be subject to ninja looters, awox'ers (is that spelled right?). I'm mean as far as high sec goes it's not a walk in the park for an occupation.

Back to the point of faction capitals, I don't think it should be a priority, but I think it's a logical addition to the ship line ups and that at some point more need to be added.

How and where can be figured out later. I would say null sec drops would be a logical location though.

I agree with the risk vs. reward and nerfing hisec incursions. However incursions are broken because of the LP payout scale, not because of the rare drops. That's a separate issue and doesn't pertain to this thread other than to derail it.

I want a Dark Blood dreadnaught that can fit 3 capital sized neuts and no guns. I would play havoc on the capacitors of capital ships. The trade off would be that it would do no HP damage and everyone would know why it's on the field as soon as it lands.

Would prefer a Sansha dreadnought myself, I'm picturing a spikey Naglfar with lasers and a stupid afterburner bonus.
