Thank you for posting this synopsis and light tutorial on the subject of Soul ****.

If only the pilot had a web cam we could watch his eyes go from shock, to realization, to abject terror, then to that exact moment where you look into his eyes and watch that glimmer of innocence and childish joy die followed by the twisting of his face into a mask of grief, loss and depression.

Watching a person be destroyed internally always gives me an appetite. This killmail is an extra 2 pounds on my figure. Ugh

They still do print ISK, but not the way they used to back when the lottery was new and 1bn ISK seemed like a lot to most players. T2 BPO owners would frequently price-fix, corner local markets, and so on. Similarly, people used to think datacores were the stuff of fabulous wealth, but hardly anyone cares anymore.

Tippia and some other folks have crunched T2 BPO numbers in the recent past, can probably find a thread somewhere. T2 BPOs themselves are still quite valuable. When one is destroyed, you lose your initial investment (even if you were the original owner, you could have sold it off) in addition to the steady income it provided.

Alara... you owe me a new keyboard. That is one of the darkest and most humorous things I've read in some time. It almost makes me want to take up piracy. +1 respect for you!!

this was done before by them, in like 2009 when there mighty leader thought evacing bpos during seige was a good idea. he lost almost the entire irc t2 bpo collection if i remember rightly

so i think by there standards this is but a minor fail... i mean at least he was pimp and did it in a fleet tempest

They sure as **** do! I know a guy who has a T2 cap recharger and he just rolls in the ISK non-stop with money to burn on anything he wants. All for practically no effort at all. So yes, they are in fact ISK printing machines. If they were not then there would be no opposition to have them all removed. But there is fierce opposition and thread derailing the moment any thread mentions to have them removed from the game.

He adds a few imaginary zeros onto the 600ish mil monthly profit. His friends believe and then proceed to be jelly without bothering to inform themselves of facts.

You guys don't get it do you?

People (the "vicitm") and most of us, just don't give a **** anymore.

On the bright side, if you have a nostalgia for EVE 2006, the new and improved EVE is right up your alley. Still, on the loss of T2 BPO, it's rather Concord justice. The problem is gone but only after the damage is done.

ok so lets see:
with a 15/10 researched Cap Recharger II BPO you can build 45 Mods a day at a POS (buildtime 23h 33m)
calcualting current jita sell orders for materials and assuming he would build every component himself (which would be stupid but i used it to get the max possible profit number on this one industry slot)
profit for one day: ~18,5 million ISK
IF he keeps the BPO running 24/7 and assuming a 30day month that would be exactly 1375 Mods * 410354,31 ISK profit per mod = 564.237.176,25 ISK/month

picture for number proof:

WHOHO we got a badass here

******* 564 million isk a month ..... does the wallet even show numbers that low?
would you now proceed to show me what he burns money on?
or do you actually think that is a big number? if yes i pity you fool

It really depends on how long he had it. T2 cap rechargers had a crazy price before invention. Those things used to go for 15m each.
