Other types of Command Centers for PI

I went to go search Eve-central for prices for command centers, and noticed that there are supposedly other types of command centers in the game for instance: Elite Barren Command Center

Were these scrapped at some point, or are they coming out soon?

AFAIK: they were scrapped.

Back in the dark ages (before I started playing), you couldn't *upgrade* a Command Center, you needed to demolish the entire facility and rebuild it from scratch with a higher tier *upgraded* command center (for which you needed the required level of Command Center Upgrades in order to place on the planet).

yea, no they where scrapped. You used to have to change out command centers when you wanted to upgrade. Now you just click on the command center to do that.
