We started very close together then, 13/10/2006. I remember it was during the Red Moon Rising expansion. Fun times! 5.000 isk in pocket, and the tutorials didn't give you much in the way of cash or ships - the first million was really hard!

I agree with your take on where CCP is steering EVE: I've always been eager to embrace changes, since they keep things moving and interesting. I believe quite a few people left EVE over the years (from my circle of friends) because they were content with the status quo, and resented things evolving in way they thought were not good. I always waited calmly to see what became of it, and apart maybe from some small details, they never disappointed me. EVE is a much better game now than it was back then.

I feel that using skill injectors would negate all these good years I lovingly skilled up my characters. I am where I always wanted to be, and like the pace at which I got here, and will go in the future. Maybe it is silly - I would probably be tempted if I were to start playing today, since they are already part of the EVE landscape. So maybe a part of me is becoming a grumpy oldtimer refusing to change after all!

Just over 10 years myself. Came to EVE after the fall of SWG and never looked back! Here's to another 10 years!

So skill injectors is cheating but using remap and implants is not ?

Congrats on 10 years Tiger... glad you stuck with it. I took a long hiatus myself.

And yes, the crack habit... I work EACH day to buy more crack, so that I can work harder and faster, to buy more crack...

Oh well, if GooglePlay APPS are pay to win... I guess CCP gotta keep competitive. And who am I to judge.. after all, it makes you feel so good.... until you need more.

Yes it is a Grrr injectors thread.

Because I will never use them to gain advantage like some one has already had done it.

Not ten years yet, but nearly there.

2007/12/14 is the birthday of my oldest character. But I've sold that one. My second oldest is a couple of days 'younger'.

This game ate my life.
