At least put a notice in patch note.

Relic sites in Class 1-3 WHs in past weeks have been less frequent and less profitable.

Can you officially confirm that you ninja nerfed exploration, or all EVE explorer players got suddenly unlucky?

I am not complaining about the nerf, but about the absolute lack of communications.

Also, the next statement will be deleted.

CCP don't communicate changes in loot drops / spawn rates generally.

Im finding it more difficult to scan down sites as well lately. I used to be able to whip through them.
I'm also not finding as many relic sites.

Also it is not a nerf to exploration. Less relics spawning simply means each has a higher value when found. It is a rebalance.

Meanwhile, in an office building in Reykjavik, an Eve Dev is chuckling quietly as their tear collection array fills.

I came for the spaceships, I stayed for the tears.

Where did you read nerf to exploration? Also, considering the risk of exploring in null/WH, my guess is that players will drop it and do something else.

Nerfing the loot, occurrence and raising scanning difficulty of relic sites means CCP thinks there are too many explorers out there.

So people grab your stuff and head null sec to mine. ;)

If your income relies on pirate relic sites in wormholes, you are doing something wrong ...

It's odd that they would nerf (reduce, what ever the hell you want to call it) relic drops since the amount of salvage needed is about to go through the roof with citadel rigs.

Relic/Data sites have been dropping as normal for me. You are probably experiencing others doing your sites.

As stated previously, (years ago) Relic and data sites are tied to their constellations. In regular space (as opposed to WH) when a site is completed, it immediately respawns somewhere else in the constellation (at least this used to be true, who knows now?) In WH space, it is entirely either A) based on passive regeneration of sites in YOUR WH OR B) tied to whatever constellation your WH is tied to either that day, or permanently. The reason for the uncertainty on B is that for years, we have been discussing whether WH's are tied to static constellations for game mechanics, or they are tied to the constellations that they are attached via another WH that day. For about a year, some friends and I tracked the systems that opened to a WH we were watching, and it had a 87% rate to be tethered via another WH to the same constellation. So using that argument, your WH might just be tied to a low activity constellation that does not spawn lucrative or rapidly appearing relic sites.

As for me, my WH and Null sec sites have been dropping fine. Randomly between 40-472 million per site, depending on what security space, or type of site.

Your just experiencing a lil bad luck. Rub the Buddha Belly a little more, and sacrifice some exotic dancers to the CCP demigods.

So I take it, you haven't been on SiSi the las few days it was up (more or less). The Citadel rigs have their newer salvage values to bake them on and 7500 units of salvage stuff times 3 isn't really the end of the world.

I looked at several tech one rigs for citadels and some need 7500 smashes trigger units, 7500 melted capacitors and 7500 ward consoles or the like.

I can produce them on my own with just doing level 4 missions for a week.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!
