Can anyone give me a Thanatos travel fit by any chance?

I'd just fit your standard tank, have a cyno with the approproate fuel so you can get help in if its available

Fit at least an MWD, an Istab and Hyperspacials - have a mobile depot and wcore stabs incase you do end up getting tackled.

This would be if you are gating around, but if you are going to be cyno jumping station to station for example, have a full tank fitted and active in the event that some bads jump into system

Don't get annoyed. Seriously, use your head and think about it a little.

Let's walk through what the person was probably thinking:

Travel fit (define this) - A fit that is needed to move a carrier. This fit has changed since the Phoebe expansion. It use to mean max cap so you could jump asap. However, with jump fatigue, it is usually pointless to fit like this as you are normally waiting for your fatigue than cap regen.

Now because it is pointless to fit max cap regen, why would a person be asking for a travel fit for jumping to cynos? What could you possibly mean because the obvious answer is a cyno in the high, a cloak if you are jumping to non-station system, and probably a max tank because you might as well since cap regen is pointless do to fatigue and docking.

Now that we have ruled out the idea of this travel fit being about jumping to a cyno, the only other option is gate travel. In this case, if you are moving a cap via gates, you had better have backup. If not, and you must go via gate, your fit would be something like you were trying to move an indy around (fit fast align, etc.).

TLDR:

Don't get annoyed at the guy as your question is kind of vague and pointless. Travel fits for carriers jumping to cynos use to be max cap which is no longer needed due to jump fatigue. Thus, the assumption you meant via gate was logical.

So you have acquired the skills and isk to find yourself in a Thanatos, and rather than ask you capital FC you came to a forum full of trolls to ask....a really vague, foolish, and outright dumb question.

I would have to argue who is the prick in this situation.
