DX 11 Updates?

I have been trying to find more upto date information about DX 11 support in Wine.
Current beta 1.9.* had references to it (thank that is the current beta number)

Just wondering if anyone knows anything more recent as of 2016?

Wine is making good progress with DirectX 11 support. It is not yet sufficiently capable to be able to run EVE, unfortunately. Cry

Thanks your reply, I made this post... Then found how you guys have added wine as an option for the Mac. Which means we are leaps and bounds closer to having a worthy client ready for DX11

I sent a mail to my alliance as well as posted on Neocom for iOS on Facebook about it.

The Mac and Linux players are in the same boat really - both have to use some form of WINE to make EVE work. Progression on one helps both in the long run.

Possibly, yes. I haven't seen a setup yet that we detect as DX11 capable but Wine is improving rapidly in their DX11 support and it depends on the machine running on.

In any case it doesn't hurt.

I have un-ticked DX9 - wine throws an error with DX11 and proceeds in DX 9.
I remember a pop up, but I have had a pop up for two or three different things.

And DX11 would require the daily beta of WINE as the current stable version doesn't support it, just the 1.9.*
