Out of Pod Experience

Greetings,

I have had wierd problems with Eve Online now I find my IGS topic was locked indefinitely...maybe because it was inactive who knows.

No one here knew the problems I was having at home I dont generally discuss things of a personal nature in gaming venues; but here I am making an exeption because Eve Online is supposed to be so great with supportive people; well now I could use some of that support.

I do like the game; if I didnt I wouldnt have invested so much time and money into it; afterall; I like space...wide open spaces...and now I am tending to go for real to wide open spaces and give at least this game a break; I am headed for the open ocean; in our sailboat I named after my wife; she kind of helped me name it.

She was accepting of many things I have done in my life; video gaming being one of them; she had a few video games goin on as well; we had our fun.

In real life we did many things...hiked mountains, sailed seas, flew in airplanes...we were together for many years...I am pretty much at ground zero with my life and could use some financial help for awhile...I wouldnt ask if I didnt need it.

I generally stream on Twitch some of the other video games I play, such as chess and other space-related games; I streamed Eve Online for awhile, and if I had enough subsrciptions for my Twitch stream, I would consider coming back to Eve and stream my RPG Eve Online; it was fun when I did that; I havnt a clue why these people just lock up my IGS thread it makes no sense like what did I ever do wrong.

I would give Eve University KUDOS for being a great help to me, and I plan on hopping over there.

So consider following me in my various venues in life...I will miss Eve for awhile but not as much as what I need to do in real life. As in everything, one must take things in moderation, and is one of the most important teachings I could impress on anyone.

A couple of things:

1. Threads are automatically locked by the system when they haven't received a response in a certain number of days. If you want your threads unlocked just report them and we can look into re-opening it for you.

I'm reading a book called H is for Hawk now that's a memoir about grief after losing a family member. In the midst of dealing with that, or because of it, the writer took on the project of training a stubborn goshawk for falconry. She's a really good writer, maybe the book could share some insights.

Sorry for your loss she sounded great. I hope and know her memory will stay with you. I just hope the good memories outweigh regret, negative memories, and all that.
