I'm going to guess, it's some sort of bug? Probably not working as intended? Have you tried repping them back?

Well, once you land in the site and target all three ships there (the Burner itself plus it's two remote reppers), the reppers target you back and start applying remote shields or armour. Whilst free reps are usually nice, it's just odd behaviour.

It's definitely working as intended - they have no weapons other than the reps - but it's just a little curious, that's all :)

Maybe they're trying to kill you with kindness. Well, that sort of crap -- being nice and all that nonsense -- has no place here in New Eden.

On a serious note, I'm rather curious; are they actually repping you or is this a visual bug?

I honestly have no idea...because were there any damage to rep (from the Burner itself), my polarised Garmur would most likely be toast! But perhaps I'll damage the ship first before entering the site just to confirm it's a visual bug; there are no repping icons shown on the HUD, so I'm guessing it's just a glitch :)
