What the heck happened to faction spawns?

I have been ratting for a long time now in sov space, ratting both blood raiders and serp. About a year ago I got a faction spawn every 3 or so havens, now in the last month I have noticed they are getting more and more rare to the point I ran through 20 or so havens today and didn't get a single faction drop, not even an escalation.

Is it just me or are faction spawns too low now?

same on anomalies and security missions. I used to get those named spawns with faction modules and loot every 10% +- of the times now it's damn rare.

I know right! If CCP is going to lower the faction spawn rate the least they can do is increase the bounties paid on them to make up for at least a little bit of the loss you know? Glad to see it's not just me though.

But I ratted all day yesterday, I didn't sleep all night because I was ratting and most of the day till now and its noon and haven't got a single faction spawn, so it is either I am the most unlucky SOB in eve or something is wrong.

They spawn all the time in the crappy high sec anomalies! I made about a billion isk over the course of a week on dread gurista and sentient stuff just casually doing them when they popped up.

Yeah but I am in sov space with a military index of 5, there is no reason we aren't getting any :( That and I hate highsec.

There is a reason you have 0.5-1 mill on each BS you kill in high sec you get 5k on a frigates. 100 times difference.

lol I didn't sleep because I have insomnia. some nights I am fine and can sleep while others I lay in bed for hours. Last night was one of the nights insomnia hit me so I said **** it and ratted lol

Are you talking about faction loot in DED sites? I run them occasional in high and low, and regularly get faction loot drops in the range of 50-100m.

I'm my own NPC alt.

besides the fact I haven't gotten one all this weekend I have luck getting good stuff from them, I am talking about faction drops from combat anoms

The issue is there are a certain number of faction spawns at any given time. These are collectively spread through all areas of space. The reason you seem to not be getting faction spawns anymore is because there is such a vast increase in "nullbears" constantly farming their collective sov space.

If you want more spawns, you have to unblue half of your blues and go shoot them so they aren't ratting as much. Once you start pvp'ing more, you'll see you have time to rat in between and will see more faction spawns as a result

Thanks for the advice, truthfully it makes since so I need to find a quiet place to rat. I do pvp but I can't shoot blues XD My boss won't let me...
