Wouldn't it be a welcome enticement for any avid EVE capsuleer to take a little break in the Captain's Quarters burning some ISK in the Stellar Casino next door?

The Casino doesn't need be designed specially opulent.. Just a small poker table, a roulette table, possibly blackjack, a weekly lottery with random tickets and a general pot. In each of us lives a Homo ludens and with a few simple features this idea could be great fun.
Even I would burn ISK because I absolutely demonize ALL lottery operators outside of EVE Online. Why? Dubious game mechanics, dubious Isk-flows and a very strong affinity for RMT; that applies the presumption of innocence ofc ....;)

Conclusion:

It would really be an amusing change and would counteract the ISK black market. I think the Dev-Team of CCP is certainly capable of making this.

One could combine the purchase of chips or tickets for the casino with Aurum Store:

x amount Aurum = y amount chips .. something like that.

As for your idea. I do support WIS content.

...especially considering many people in EvE including those in pvp alliances sit around doing nothing for most of their playtime while they wait for others to create content for them.. Why shouldnt a casino fleece the isk of the bored and idle.

WiS may be a thing to start looking at again in the near future(read Soon*TM).


Need to make sure the Citadel/POS, Capitals, and T3's are done first, IMO, but the game certainly seems to be in a much healthier place development wise than it was during Incarna development.

I Like this idea, who need clothes when other players don't see me? :( CCP in 2016 have technology to develop WiS more. Not only one room and TV.

There is no gambling (legal) in Iceland, as far as I know.
There will be no gambling in EvE.

Why bother with the wis bit? Why not just put a button on the neo com so you can play from anywhere...like when you're mining.
