Are rats attacking ratting ships drones in sites?

I just had a internal discussion with some of my corp mates saying that their drones are now getting attacked more than usual. Is this a fluke or is it something with the patch?

If anyone else is having this issue post it here!

I am not sure if its intentional or if its a bug.

I swear, every dang patch has a, "Did they change X? Ever since the patch I've noticed [subjective valuation based on low sample size]" threads.

Well if you remember the one time cynos were no longer allowed to be llit in ded sites for a few days. It was a glitch and that was a thing.

Right so if you think something changed and there are no patch notes with regards to your perceived change file a petition. Getting popular opinion on the forums is only going to produce hearsay from people who can't produce a valid sample set.

I don't know; haven't tried drones in missions yet, and I haven't heard of anything. I imagine that CCP would announce if they changed more NPCs to the Sleeper AI system.

My recommendation is you and your corpmates should use eve-survival.org, find the exact mission and the description of which NPCs attack which drones, then once you're in the mission, compare the behavior.

I know that officer and named NPCs will attack drones of equal size to their ships, and also if a new wave warps in while your drones are out, they'll go for drones. But that isn't something that's changed; it's been like that for a while.

I think they changed the invention chance too. I haven't gotten any successful outcomes since the patch. CCPlease why do you have to nerf everything!? Lol

I think something has been changed, I've noticed ratting with drone boats has become very hard - sometimes practically impossible honestly. my VNI has been rendered completely useless due to the fact that heavy drones are soo slow, spend more time relaunching and watching them burn than doing anything else.

It's been happening for a while, the fix is to go somewhere safe (ha) eject from your ship then board it again.
This kills the bug.
