Project Discovery Tutorial Stalling

Project Discovery's tutorial continually stalls on any step from 1-9. The window just sits there with a loading icon for the next 'cell slide' image, and it doesn't matter how long I let it sit there, the next image won't load. I then have to close the window and restart the bloody tutorial again. I've already tried clearing my game's cache.

I had this happen to me yesterday, it's because the discovery server is full / can only handle so many submissions / minute. Wait until the TQ server population drops below 25k or so.

I wish we could skip the tutorial. There is no such option and it is totally hung, so looks like I'll have to repeat it.

CCP, please allow us to skip the tutorial..

No no no...people would skip it straight off the bat and the already high percent of wrong answers will grow. IMO, the tutorial needs to be long and more indepth showing more examples.

I play in AUTZ, we're never going to see 25k online.

I've tried to access the tutorial 9 times, and every time the damn things get stuck in a loop on tute 3/10. A number of 100000019 appears in the lower right of the pane, don't know if this relates to anything.

Also having this issue. 30k people on. Stalls on random number out of 10. I have tried 7 times. 100000017 in lower right corner but this changes. Finally got the tutorial completed. Had fewer issues when I remembered to turn on all color channels before submitting. Project Discovery is down right now though.

Would be nice if we could skip samples at all. I sometimes have ones that I simply cannot classify. Instead of clasifying them incorrectly, I'd rather click "No ******* clue" and get on with it. Might be too easy to exploit - dunno.

This video tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrqCWg0cZSk&feature=youtu.be put up by HPA scientist is a good walkthrough for the mini game. The video includes a few more complex cases than the in-game tutorial. He explained well how he reach his answer by playing the mini game. I think every player who wants to participate in project discovery should watch this video.

You could close PD and open it again and it will refresh the sample.
