You might be able to do it through a petition, but there is NO garantuee that CCP will reimburse your payment and revert the gametime. Specially if you already started using said game time.

For next time:

After you bought your subscription (1 month, 3 months, a year, etc) just cancel the subscription.

You paid for "x" amount of game time, it is added and canceling your subscription doesn't make that go away, it just stops the automatic recurring sub form deducting money from your payment system (PayPal, CC).

As J'Poll said, they're not obligated to refund so it's their discretion. On the bright side, you can keep your skill queue going for when you get back. Blink

Once, while paying for a yearly sub, they mistakenly charged me VAT based on the fact that the account was originally created a long time ago in the UK (2008, or so), but I now reside in Canada. I sent a politely-worded email and brought this matter to their attention, along with - IIRC - a screenshot of the payment screen showing my Canadian address and also the IP address used when the transaction was completed. As 20% is a not-insubstantial amount, I was looking forward to receiving a refund on the difference - however, disappointingly, they merely extended my subscription by a length of time equal to the amount owing.

Of course, YMMV, but it's my tuppence of anecdotal evidence! :)

That was a surprisingly helpful response. Not that I doubt your ability to be helpful in anyway. And yes, still high.
