Running sites in static vs home

For most of my WH career I've been living in a WH with a C4 Static. Usually I run sites in the static and roll the hole when I want more. I don't think I've ever run sites in my home.

As such, I have no idea how many sites a WH can spawn in a given time period. I know its dependent on how many sites are run in the rest of the constellation (i think?) but is there any kind of general idea on how many sites a single WH will spawn in a given day/week/month?

Do most people run sites in their static and leave their homes for whenever?

I would run some but not all. Keep like 2-3 sites that you keep bookmarked to bait people who try and run your sites. Aside from those only run new sites that spawn and sites from your static.

Used to ... but right now i rarely run sites at all ... so i stick to my home sites. Especially when living in wormhole with effects, you learn to love that effect and specialize upon it and don't like to run sites in wormholes without effects as it takes longer :D

I prayed to bob everyday for a good homesite respawn, and that chester would roll in the following day to breadline them down so we could actually get a fight from him. Alas, when he did roll in, a fleet of rolling mallers was spotted multiple times.

I had to praise bob not for a fight, but for making me laugh the hardest I had in a very long time.

Praise bob in local guys, assign drones to me.

i'm going to ignore the obvious insults and hate here and address the real issues.

This is EXACTLY why I left wh0re. I wanted to fight lazerhawks so badly, im a combat soldier not a ******* bear.

Breadline was definitely the worst Idea I ever made in running wh0re. It bread (get it) lazy bears who did nothing but assign drones and fall asleep, then log off when there was pew.

It took a number of times when I was only able to get a 10 man fleet together out of a corp of 200 for pew before I hit my breaking point.

Why did I leave wh0re? Because when i stepped down and said that we arnt getting enough pvp to keep pvp people happy they said "Lets run more cap sites!".

Im a LOT happier where I am now, and I really look forward to the point where I actually have enough numbers to fight lazerhawks again.

That being said, I still think one of the funniest things ive ever done in eve was rolling lazerhawks off twice with mallers back to back.

PS: Ive upgraded to yachts now. Mallers are gross.

If you have a static c4 that you can roll and farm- then that's what you do. If you have sites in home (what is home? a c2?). You could run them also but for less ISK obviously, but probably faster completion time.

It's not rocket science :)
