You know, I don't want to ship spin on all my accounts, so, CCPlease give us back the option to have a static, fixed image of the ship in the hangar, because, aside from the ship spinning, having a live 3D rendering on a lot of clients, literally MELTS and KILLS the VG Card... I don't know you, but I don't like to smell cooked Graph Cards in the morning...

Can confirm, when i ran EVE Online on my Compaq EVO N800V from 2001 with a 32MB graphics card it couldnt even load the station enviroment, if i even tried to touch anywhere to move the camera(screen was artifacted anyways) the game crashed.

Running on a legacy system with Windows XP does not work. So played recettear on it instead, a 2D anime game, and the GPU overheated to the point the BGA broke and the laptop died after a week.

If your system cant even load the station enviroment, what kind of a legacy system do you attempt to run it on?

EVE Runs fine on old systems, if you cant even idle in station then you are on a legacy system, CCP is dropping support for Windows XP soon btw.

If you have some accounts you use for marketing whatever whilst you actually play on others, you can create an own profile for them on absolute minimum graphics so they wont be as taxing.

Nope I'm not running on a legacy system, but my GC is old and I can't replace it.
With all my clients open, the FPS drop in station without the fixed image is quite sensible, from 40 to 15-14, in my case.
And settings are already medium-low.
Also, I don't need to see my ship 360° in station.

Sorry that you for some reason want to idle clients in the station whilst actually playing on others then, and that your PC is so low performance it barely can maintain that. However

The decision has been made, with the advancement of EVE the static station enviroment caused issues and thus is being dropped. CCP will not revert this , you have to make the decision to either change your playstyle and stick to the amount of clients your PC can run at a decent performance, or concider upgrading it a bit. You dont need the highest performance components to run EVE on low graphics at 60+ FPS.

Have you tried minimising the inactive clients rather than just changing focus? As silly as it may sound, it does make a difference ;)

Have you tried to look at the settings and see that the 'Load Station Environment' toggle has been removed from the graphic settings inside the settings menu?

Yes, I have. However, if you tried my suggestion and minimised the client, you would find that they consume significantly less in the way of resources.

On one of my computers, I can run one client full settings at 60fps no problem. Throw a second full-settings client in the mix, my FPS drop to 30 if I have both "restored" and just change focus between them. The moment I minimise one, the FPS on the remaining client shoots back up to 60.

If you want some Dev backing to my statement that minimising helps, check this post from CCP Darwin (emphasis in quote below is my own):

If you are finding there's a significant performance drop for your foreground Eve client with entirely minimized clients running in the background, this may be a bug, and I suggest using the in-game bug report tool ("Report Bug" on the F12 menu) to report it.

I from times to times run 5 clients, while my main machine has no problem with this removal of the "station image" my mobile setup has.
I know that the station image caused some black screen (while showing the hud and menu) when you unlocked with the new camera enabled, but please remove the new cam rather than this option ;)
I also use an tabled device to update my market orders with an always docked char, and that tablet does not like the animated and unrequited ship spin station environment.
