New buddy list broken

Well, I immediately jumped in after down time and tested this. It's broken.

I added my alt to the buddy list. Shows offline. This appears to work.

I then added myself to the alt's buddy list. My alt immediately sees that I'm online, but I cannot the alt's online status until one or the other logs out.

I remove the alt from my buddy list. The alt continues to see me as being online, even if I log out.

I'm beginning to understand how this works, and all i can say is...this is a broken way to handle a buddy list.
