I had no entry found error on launch and downloaded new launcher on another folder but now I lost EVERY setting I've ever put on eve. How can i get them back??

Launcher also has downloaded 5-10gb worth of useless files somewhere suddenly but i don't know where.

first launch on the new launcher u should have gotten a migrate window .. if not .. then u can open the "client settings" from the "eve menu" just left from the minimize button it should reconize your old settings .. just drag and drop there ..

downloaded files .. could be just you downloading the eve files all over again .. from the the same "eve menu" button there is "shared cache" opening that would show you where the files was downloaded ..

I deleted default and dragged the only option I had in migrate old clients. After that I closed client and checked if my profile still was right.

Didn't do anything.

I really don't feel like spending 3 hours on setting everything up because CCP decided it's fun to introduce update that breaks your launcher.

Yes, It's the one i set on client settings.
This makes me to expect that location where my launcher gets those files is wrong but it doesn't give any hint how to fix or even approach such issue.

My settings files with the new launcher are found at C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_eve_sharedcache_tq_tranquility

Using new launcher overwrites those without warning if I'm supposed to have my real settings there.

Have you moved from the old launcher to the new launcher? If so, the old launcher settings should be in C:\Users\< username >\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE, one folder per client install directory you had created. N.B. The folders you want are the ones WITHOUT sharedcache in the name and with just the path to the client as the folder name.

The migration tool should pick up any existing settings - make sure that you are adding them to Tranquility and not one of the test servers. Again, the name in "migrate old clients" should be the path to the client that you are moving settings over from.
