Megathron Solo a C3 fit?

Hello, so i run sleeper green sites in a spider tanked domi fleet. i was looking for a ship to do some C3 or c2 sites solo in. i was wondering if the megathron can handle these sites solo. if you have any idea of what a WH megathron fit would look like could you post one?
1 note i can not use tech 2 railguns or blasters.
2 i can use tech 2 armor hardeners and other tanky modules.
any response would be appreciated.

Without t2 guns it's gonna be a pain, it's possible but not great solo.

If you really want to use a Gallente bs gunboat I'd suggest looking at the hyperion. It has rep bonus and extra mid slot that will be useful for a cap booster which you will likely need.

I understand you wanting to try it but it's not gonna be great. I'd suggest you do some looking into it maybe test it. Use sisi if you can't afford or get the ships into your chosen j system

Yay i was thinking of jyperion as well. i no real attachment to the megathron. my goal was to use a battleship to solo some sites if the hyperion can handle it i will use that. do you have any fits for hyperion?

If your not dead-set on using a gun boat, a domi can solo c3's. A rattlesnake can do it even better if you have the skills (I'm guessing you're mostly gallente and armor skilled though?).

I can fly a rattlesnake with cruise missiles. i was looking for a battleships but not a overly shiny battleship with faction gear. i know that the chance of loosing a ship is very high.

Eh rattlesnakes themselves aren't overly expensive, and your increased clear time will make up for your inevitable losses.

Usually I use a passive regen tank and switch for more damage/more tank as the wave dictates. Works fairly well and that way you'll have a depot sitting with you for when you do get ganked. If you think you can take them on, refit for pvp. If not, refit warp stabs and warp off. If all else fails, stash everything in the depot and come back later P

You could fit a megathron similarly to these, but it will suffer from lack of range with blasters (it has no range bonus) and lack of tracking if you use rails.

A Dominix would work if you fit it like the Armageddon fittings in the article - I've tried the geddon fitting and it definitely works for all C3 sites.

Yay i liked the domi. my only concern is that sleeper frigates would target and kill the drones. any battleship i would use would would have tech large guns. i am ok with using any battleship. would a raven with tech 1 cruise missiles have a easier time then say a Hyperion or maelstrom with sniping fits?

I'd recommend you use Tech-2 weapons if you do anything solo.
