T4 Mission - How to destroy Burner Dragonflies?

Hi,

I haven't played Eve a whole lot and I've mostly Salvaged to make money and I recently started grinding standings to get t4 missions. I finally got that and now I have this one mission where I'm supposed to destroy the support of a super carrier, which is three Burner Dragonflies.

How do you destroy these things? My drones can't hit them, I get almost instantly scrambled and webbed the second I go through the gate and I couldn't even hit one of these things with medium turrets even after I webbed them. I just lost a my confessor, which I use to check out the mission site before picking a ship to use to actually do the mission and after this I lost my Navy Issue Harbinger, because I can't hit the bloody things or warp away.

After losing almost 200mil on one crappy mission, I'm starting to think this isn't worth it anymore, but I'm interested in knowing how to destroy these little bastards in case I have to deal with them in the future.

Any tips?

Burner missions are very high tier, done in a very specific set of ships and fits. Ready for a threadnaught:

Thanks for the link. I didn't know you could get burner missions from the agents I've been working with. No wonder I get blown to bits when I have the same approach to it as the regular missions before.

You've undoubtedly already declined that mission, but for future reference the general consensus is that the Burner mission against the supercarrier is simply not worth doing - it takes far too long for it to be worthwhile in any meaningful sense.

Perfection is a dish best served like wasabi .
