Fitting Window Animation Bug

I understand this is the forum to report and discuss bugs in the Eve client.

Here's the first of what I hope will be a series of bug reports.

While docked, bring up the Ship Fitting window. Right-click on a ship in your inventory, and select Make Active. Repeat a few times.

Expected behavior: the ship displayed in the fitting window should animate smoothly.

Actual behavior: the animation is often jerky; it seems to jump backward before completing.

Proper place to report bugs out of game would be...

https://community.eveonline.com/support/bug-reports/ (Edit: you will likely need your login credentials)

...not the forums. At best, the forums are for discussion on the bugs in this instance, but CCP relies on an actual bug report system linked above and the one available in game. From inside Eve, logging in and then hitting F12 brings up a help window with a number of buttons, one of which is for reporting bugs. It is generally better to do so in game as it will also send CCP various logs and other data along with it that can help them hunt a bug down. The video is a good visual on the bug you're describing, so make sure to link that for them in the bug report just like you did here. In fact, you could copy/paste everything from "While docked," and down in the report and that should suffice.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Discussed on another thread as to why I'm posting here and not using F12:

i think you're misunderstanding something.

this is to ask your fellow player for known bugs or if you want to know if your issue is a known bug.

if you want a dev to answer your question file a report.

Unfortunately, I've never had a dev answer a question I've asked in an F12 bug report.

My goal is discussion with anyone who's interested.

If devs want to read and respond, great. If not, that's fine, too.

If no one else wants to discuss, either, then clearly I am in the wrong place.
