Today, I happened to fly afk in highsec in a shuttle, in the wrong clone (a precious one), with no war ongoing,
taking care in reallife of my little girl who threw up in bed at night!

Only to came back and see that some glorious warrior had destroyed my shuttle and killed off my pod.

Well,
I'm calling it a day, and cancelled subscription for my three accounts.
I don't have time to sit before my screen all day long.

And if glorious PVPers don't like highsec, ok, so be it.
But then don't whine if CCP continues to lose those players and their income,
and budget to invest.

Have fun, brave warriors, while destroying game development resources.

This is the kind of player it's really ok to lose, so no loss, if you can't take a loss in a game that says losing stuff is legal, you were playing the wrong game. Also, you can't post killmails here. I myself have been ganked in a shuttle (twice) and podded (once, then got an email congratulating me on not having implants lol Goons are special).

Did I like it? No, but it's a part of the game.

The potential of suicide ganking for lulz (the generate the kind of juvenile tears This poster just provided) is a counter balancing factor to the ability to autopilot. Autopiltoting is literally playing the game without having to play the game, and it is right and proper that it comes are a potential cost. If CCP wanted you to have no risk movement, they would just let you teleport from place to place without need of a jumpdrive. Hell, they actually do, they are called jumpclones.

Lastly, isn't this guy the perfect example of modern entitlement? Not only does he think the game should play itself, he thinks we (and ccp) should care that he can't handle the realities of the game he's chosen to play, so much so that he needs to invoke a sick kid. I've lost ships because of sick kids and grandkids, never thought to blame CCP for it..


Edit: and wow, the name of the guy that ganked him is most appropriate.

aha, the Autopilot. cause of more tears and rage than any other single element of the game.

Just dock up when you have an RL emergency. Or logout if you don't have a combat timer.

Hmmm....this reads like a WoW forum...how astute.

Loses pixel spaceship in a game about losing pixel spaceships, cries on the forum. Like Jenn said, these are the people Soundwave was talking about when he said it was ok to lose some players. I sure hope OP's daughter picks a better role model for how to deal with video game losses.
