As I said, getting into the same corp as a person with the intent of destroying their ship is NOT what we're talking about here. What you're talking about is something done out of boredom and lack of ships to shoot. If anything, this plan keeps those of us who do those things (I don't, or at least haven't yet) from recruiting targets.

Dec shielding has its own drawbacks: you still look soft to potential griefers and your corp's alliance history becomes cluttered, making you less appealing should your corp ever seriously seek alliance membership.

Don't know what to make of this. It sounds really cool and kinda odd at the same time. Sounds like it worked for one dude already though. Needs a larger sample size.

A. People who wanna shoot people.

B. People who wanna be left alone.

C. People who don't want to shoot anything that might shoot back.

A & B get together and pee on C. What's not to like? Twisted

What part of "stay docked while we do our thing" do you not get. Last time I checked you couldn't violence people who were inside station. Are we even playing the same game? I know you can attack people in Ironforge in some cases.. but we're talking about Eve here.

Again: We want to make this a thing we do on a regular basis. If we don't hold up to our promises then we don't get the fights we're looking for.

Try us out, stay docked for the duration and see what we do. It's no-risk and no-cost.

The problem is, you've already broken your promises to people in the past. ( https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=54557&find=unread ) As someone once said, you can't make a good deal with bad people. Also, reading the thread, you did not "decide to come out and post with your main".. someone outed you guys.

Also, your solution has a competing alternative: Decshield corps. Then they don't have to dock up for an extended period, can still play, and don't have to let a bunch of untrustworthy ******bags into their corp making undocking even more dangerous than it already is for them. If I was in a derp-corp that got wardecced and the CEO decided to order everyone to dock for a week while admitting a bunch of known backstabbers into the corp "to protect us"... I'd likely leave the corp. Especially if the CEO still went with this choice after I linked him to a thread on decshield corps, because then he's clearly an idiot.

Edit: Free bump though. It's still a good idea.... for you guys... if you can get clients.

Dec-Shield will have you docked up for at least 24 hours... You really need to learn more about this game before spouting nonsense. Additionally, if we really wanted to attack the kind of corps that would use Dec Shield, we'd just dec Dec Shield... .... think about that for a second. Also, we weren't outed by anyone, we've only had 2 clients so far and both were pleased with our performance. We just thought our name might throw some more momentum behind this thread and gain us some more opportunities. I am starting to think that the vast majority of Eve players have been replaced by timid WoW players who've come here to "make isk" and fly big boats. These are the types of people that come up with names like "Deathdestroyer Maximum Pwnage" corp and then learn to fly hulks right away. They are then surprised when they are decced by some fledgling low/no risk group of gankers who camp them into station for hours at a time. The aforementioned corp has a few options when this happens; they can hire mercs (pfffft), they can fight back (lol hulks), they can join dec shield (48 hours more station camping and a fee), or they can call us. We don't cost anything. They are in station anyway. Worst case scenario is we put some losses on their boards with our ships.

Again, we can't shoot people inside of stations.. that's a different game you're thinking of.. stop playing ToR.

This.

We're talking about two very different scenarios here:

1) We join a corp or recruit a player with the specific intent of destroying their ships because we see that they have something we want.

2) We join a corp with the explicit instructions to NOT be where we can shoot at them so that we can shoot their enemies.

Some people just don't grasp that one group can do both without it conflicting.

Sounds like it would be a good service if you follow their instructions and don't undock if you think they might gank you.

This sounds like a good initiative.
It looks legit.. I say give these guys a chance to prove their worth. There really is nothing to lose.
For the love of pvp I hope this pans out well, for both parties.
