The issue where shield bonuses leave you with uncharged shields when boarding in space (or when jumping through a gate, for fleet bonuses) should be addressed with this release. If the ship had fully-charged shields before it was affected by a bonus, it should keep fully-charged shields once the bonus has been applied. I recommend you test your particular case on Sisi, and see if you notice any improvement.

Between that and the ability to modify the watch list, you have done enough to make this update awesome.

Nice work, CCP!

Have a look at this watchlist mockup made by Durzel on the failheap-challenge.com forums

Bigger bars + visible capacitor levels would be brilliant.

I get why you want capacitor, but why the bigger bars?

Increased visibilty? The current bars are a bit thin to be honest, especially with 90% UI scaling and making them more clear would be awesome, don't need the cap just the bars :)

These are awesome changes. The UI Updates in general have all been excellent.

I would still like to see the ability to sort the names in local by standing or by Icon. :3

I love most of this stuff. But could you tweak the watchlist a little bit more? Right now if i double-click someone on the watchlist, the character-info pops up, wich is actually as useless as it could be. Instead i would love to see, that a single click or a double-click switches my target to this person. (It already works with broadcasts btw.).

I've seen some people bragging about the dscan, (but didn't bother to actually read that :P ) so it came to my mind, that it could be useful if you add an overlay, wich shows your scanning-angle when it's lower than 360 degrees.

Oooh, awesome! As my skill list fills up (it's getting there) I was wishing for a way to filter it, thanks! Also loving the new chat list, nice and slim. :)

good stuff.

can you fix chat invites quickly too? -> i get convoed when i'm afk, i come back - accept the convo (and i did not write down the name of who convo'd me) i get into the private chat - but if he went offline already i don't know anymore who wanted to speak to me.

so then, it's real easy to go to your game folder, check for privat chat logs and see who convo'd you. really?!? a notivication when the chat opens (private chat between 'Jon Hellguard' and 'Mister i just Covo'd you but went offline' opened) would fix this already.

and if you feel it's really cool - extra notivication lines like "Jon Hellguard entered the chat, invited by XYZ" may not be far away. Making each pilot able to turn this notivications on or off would help too. That way reading up on a convo or a chatlog is more clear. from what point of a conversation a pilot joined or was invited.

but mainly... as long as i get to get back on the person who tried to reach me -> i'd be very happy not having to check my chat logs for people that tried to chat with me but didn't chat with me and eve client made a log of the chat that didn't happen because of the person who wanted to chat left already.

+1 to filtering chat members by standing, if possible.

While the increased size of the watchlist is great and I understand that increasing this number much higher could be used to cause bad things. Nonetheless it would be nice to allow the pilots that make most use of the watchlist to have more room in it. This could be achieved by making the number of people allowed on the watchlist dependent on the ship one is flying.

For example the watchlist is one of the main tool for logi pilots to keep a close eye on ships that are important or explode quickly. Why can't we give them more slots in the watchlist then other ships. Most of the other people don't have the need for many people in their watchlist a few warp-to and anchors but that's it.

By making the number of people the watchlist can hold dependen on the ship you could make logi pilots even happier without running into huge problems in bigger fights.

Thanks for the little updates that are really very nice improvments.

Glad to see the blinking overload button is coming. When can we get instant overloading for things like afterburners and warp scramblers? Big smile

Loving all of the little changes. Keep it up.

Awesome.

Might I suggest for #3, compact skills listing: for all skills you aren't actively training, just show the name and the level, we don't really care about the number of skillpoints of a skill we aren't training, but provide that number as a tooltip. Make this configurable.

For a contacts list overhaul...

Give us the ability to add tags that show up in the normal view that are information that is already known about a contact (e.g. Corp, Alliance, Faction, et.al.)

Give us the ability to filter our contact list by those tags (e.g. Corp, Alliance, Faction, et.al.)

For agents...give us the ability to search for agents that have location services that we can use, expanding upon the existing filters.

A timer on the location agents showing when we can use them, and when to expect the pending results of the location would be awesome too...

IMHO, if the client already has the info (so no extra performance hit), it should be displayable in the watchlist. A perfect example would be range, which would be helpful to logistics pilots.
I thought that was that the OVERVIEW was for, assuming friendlies/fleetmates are turned on. And if some idiot is stupid enough to manage to travel outside rep range, then that's their own stupid fault for not listening to their FC, or they don't want to be repped.

So many times I hear people moan about Logis, but why should they wander off to help the straggler? It's the main body of the fleet that'll help them, not Billy No Mates.
Seriously - overview. Unless you have friendlies turned off in which case my rant is null and invalid.

The Gaming MoD - retro to modern, console to MMO, I blog about it if it's a game and I'm interested in it. Yes, I play games other than Eve and I don't care if you think I'm wrong.

You say "sleeker looking agent list" and all I see is one that's twice as big that's going to force me to scroll the list - every - time - I dock - to flip - a mission..... ugh.

Heat change is epic tho, and I can't wait to get compact mode in channels.
