EVE Launcher version 1014967

EVE Launcher version 1014967 has the following fixes and changes:

  • Added exception handling around creation of web gui window and display server list to allow patching even if web gui can’t run.
  • Added a setting for ignoring certification errors – please only use this on a network you trust!
  • Clear web cache on version update.
  • Minor logging changes.



This version along with GUI 1.876 should fix the issue with accounts being forgotten between sessions.

And it fixes the issue with accounts beeing forgotten when you switch from TQ to SISI and back also?

Edit: On upgrading it lost one of my accounts, luckily 1014041 had forgotten about most of them, and only 67 lost one.

2nd Edit: On 1014967 it would seem that any account that encounters a Login Error is removed. Is this a feature or a bug?

It's not actually removed. If you restart the launcher it should display again. However, this is not intended and I'm working on getting a fix out.

EDIT: I was referring to accounts that are unable to log in that are not actually removed. I am working on getting them to display in the list again even if they fail the login process.

It's not actually removed. If you restart the launcher it should display again. However, this is not intended and I'm working on getting a fix out.


Thanks for the reply. Should did not work for me. Tried to restart the Launcher, but the last missing account that 67 wiped did not get restored. Not the majority that 41 had wiped either.

Re adding my accounts I get this message in a otherwise blank window:

"The page was not displayed because there was a conflict."

First time I got it was when I added a account with password, then that showed up.
Now I get it whenever I it the plus sign to add another account.

Oh... And stopping and restarting the Launcher does not help.

So Now I am unable to add my accounts.... Guess I should reinstall EVE? Just to be safe? Roll

1014041 wiped my accounts
1014967 wiped one of my accounts, and prevents me from adding accounts

Yep, this launcher update if more eff'd up than a football bat.


Was able to log in and play fine yesterday. Today I can't even log in. Just amazing.

Oh, uninstalling and trying to reinstall doesn't fix anything either. The blank window where your account should be is still there.

I'm pretty sure it's a conflict with anti-virus software,

What I'm doing now is using the rescache.exe program found in C:\EVE\ShareCache\tq sub-folder to install the missing cache files.

Will give you an update when it's finished.

***UPDATE***

Well, that changed nothing. For some reason the log in window is fine if I select the test server, but the window is blank if I select Tranquility server.

Whoever figures out this one will be my new Hero.

It seems there is an issue on the backend that is interfering with logging in. Retrying a few times may help, either by restarting the launcher or refreshing manually from the drop-down menu. I'm told a fix for this is in the works and should be deployed tomorrow.

If retrying doesn't help, you can always start clients from the server list, logging in in the client itself.

fix this .. and then any other bigger issue on the relese version ... after that please slow down the updates for it and only do it on the dev and beta versions .. with a dedicated topic here asking peapole to volonteer wiht the mess up that happends there :)


hitting refresh atm keeps shufelinbg he ammount of accounts i see on my list .. with play button doing nohting for the couple times ive checked .. well besides turning from "play" to "stop" and back .. no clients launching ..

Oh for love of god.

Again with disappearing accounts? Is there any intelligent reason why you are doing this as a web application instead of native (QT works everywhere so hardly an issue)? Having to re add bunch of accounts every single day is getting old very fast.

With the update my accounts show double in the launcher.
deleting one of them deletes both of them. Entereing a second account and the deleting the double ones "works" until I restart the Launcher.

Some issues that reveal themselves if the launcher language is changed:

Switching from Language A to B (English to German in my case) results in this.

Clicking on the Feedback link on the right edge results in this, same for the Bug Report link.
I can't login to the forums, as the Link is within the launcher's title bar.

Launcher restart fixes the issue but keep the new language setting.

GUI: 1.885

Looks like that's resolved.

GUI version now is 1.884 (0.001 lower than before)
