EVE Online needs more advertising

It's a great product, but much like the Commodore Amiga, it still suffers from a lack of product awareness. An occasional well-place billboard advertisement in a rotation of cities could be done, and not blow the budget. Bring a sense of awe to someone as they head to work, so they'll remember it when they get home and check out the game.

Be the change that you wish to see in the world, go steal a lot of stuff.

There once was a ganker named tisi

A stunningly beautiful missy

To gank a gross miner

There is nothing finer, cept when they get all pissy

I don't know of any more billboards, there is this ad though, which is in a similar vein.

No.

I hope this is a temporary phase of EVE development we are going through with it being made more shallow.
I would rather the advertising go full force when they fix the damage Fozzie's team have done.

CCP - Building ant hills and magnifying glasses for fat kids

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

It would suffice if time-limited deals included the time limit to avoid being mistaken for different deals with different time limits. Evil

EVE could use more people and more players, and paying members.
You can't run a business with paid servers or internet + software solutions without income.
This number can be tenfold and exponential.
There would more problems to deal with.

It took me a few seconds to get it (like those 3d stare-at-them posters), but lol I love it.

This was some nice free publicity they got from Bloomberg business/capitalist news. Not so long after the same guys ran the story about the jillion dollar EVE spaceships fight.

Reuters, the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg's sites are blocked from China.

Also, that businessweek.com/explore link is not working but
the businessweek.com/subscribe link works.

btw, I don't think EVE Online ever boasted to have 500,000 networked "players" worldwide.

Sometimes free publicity can be just as good as it costs.
