Ishtar Level 4 mission fit -- 4 mid slots

Since I can't seem to find any Ishtars built since a mid slot was removed, here's my version. Any comments?

Thukker Large shield extender can be swapped with Large T2, but increased sig radius. Combination speed/buffer tanked. 1240 m/s cap stable 50%. Almost all level5 skills 424/425 CPU. 797 dps with Ogres, drone control to 85 km, targeting to 100km. 27000 ehp

Have you used this fit in a mission?

If so, then I am curious to know how you deal with the drone aggro from the Elite Frigates and Cruisers. I've used Gallente drones in the past, but Elite Frigates and Cruiser crew threw them pretty quick.

Typically, I kill off the BS, BC and cruiser with my BS, then deploy my lights to destroy an Elite Frigate or two, then dock them up, and deploy them again, when the Frigates target me...I haven't really found a more effective strategy.

It sounds plausible enough tonight, but wait until tomorrow. Wait for the common sense of the morning.

I have used similar, typically I warp in at 50, or run away til i'm at 50 and use sentries for the frigs first. Otherwise if they're close/you're webbed I use the hobgoblins kill the frigs first. Typically keep 2 flights of hobgoblins on board just in case.

edit: Oh apparently these are meant to be speed tanked with shields. No wonder I had trouble :)

...or you could fly a battleship instead, maybe even one with a drone tracking bonus?

do you try the opposite: kill elite frigs first, then other npc?
