If you want to get in touch with us in community, which is where Fallout works, the best way is to go and create a petition. Make sure you put it in the Other Issues > Community category for general community related matters. We also handle forum matters and then you just select Forums instead of Community. Smile

be that as it may, certainly there are better tools at your disposal to limit spam other than taking in-game money from players
communication shouldn't be one of the isk sinks in eve.

just sayin


and I didn't know fallout was a woman either, what may be old to you may be new to others

As much as people balk about the theory CCP regularly interferes with the game, is trying to corner all our wallets and conquer the world with the NEX store, or is in general a nefarious enterprise bent on either their own, our own, or our combined mutual destruction, you would think more people would be reticent to encourage the ability for individual players to have direct and immediate access to company employees through relatively private email correspondence that does not use the escalation and ticket hierarchy that allows users and employees alike to track the progress of their issue.

TLDR

Player A: I emailed a dev directly and my ship was returned!
Player B: Favoritism favoritism favoritism! *rallies the angry mob*

CCP is damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Some things just don't seem worthy of clogging up the petition system for
A comment or suggestion to a specific party, seems to be what email was made for.

in the past on other game forums we had a lovely PM system and the ability to email specific devs/mods, typically it was encouraged.
ok so that's different here, but helper is right, isn't there a better way? it seems kind of isolationist and I really hate filing useless petitions.

not an argument, just an observation

and no I didn't know she is a she, was I supposed to?

True true, I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice to have a more healthy dialog with employees at CCP, I am just saying given the rather acrid nature of the subscriber base of late, at least on these forums, that it would just be another endless cause for people to champion as another source of ill will at CCP to have 'private conversations' with individual players, it must mean they're up to no good, let's flame the forums for months over it!

Just saying... a few years ago this would have been wonderful, but now... can you imagine if any subscriber could just up and email a CCP employee at any time day or night?

It would have to be a zero tolerance system, whatever it is, that a single infraction or hostile tone taken in direct correspondence with a CCP employee would immediately get you and all your accounts banned without mercy or possible recourse.
