Inject skillbooks remotely

This is not a new idea by any means, you can check an old thread here for example : https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2026353

So it is now possible to inject SP remotely, with some sense lore wise. Skillpoints are simply added into your brain, which is always connected to the clone network in case of podding. You can read some lore about it here : http://community.eveonline.com/backstory/scientific-articles/ppcc-part-1-the-capsule-and-the-clone/

What about skillbooks ? Well skillbooks are injected directly to your brain aswell. Since the February release, you don't need the requirements to inject a skill, you just have to learn the skills in order.

Why not allowing everyone to inject skills from the Assets window, remotely ?

You linked the thread, but didn't read it apparently. The main reason why not is the first line of the third post in the thread you linked.

Also, this thread is being reported as redundant. If you feel you have something to add to a dead/locked thread, petition to have it reopened, rather that start a new one.

i deal with a lot of new players and what seems to be the main thing that gets them to take their first trip out of HS is they bought a skill seeded in a ls station so ima -1 this idea

Unless you move skillbooks for the market, only dumbass move skillbooks and don't inject the skillbook as soon as bought.

But I agree that the possibility to buy remotely and inject the skillbook should be a possibility.

Well, here the need of another skillbook to learn in perpspective. Big smile

Make it real but add a fee, yes there should be np in remotely injecting a skillbook, but as it stands now it it a perfectly valid trading article people bring to trade hubs, so make it expensive.

Come get some cancer @ my blog !

It's another way to get you to spend time out of the safety of in-station...take a risk on moving stuff around because it cannot be used remotely. Hey, we mission runners cannot in most cases inquire for, accept, or complete missions remotely for the same reasons. Personally, I think they should remain one of those "in person only" kinds of things. My 2 ISK.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Judging by some CCP comments this is apparently coming at some stage this year.
