So I just thought about this: "we the players should create a kickstarter in order to buy EVE better servers"Roll

Sounds good right? It's not like thousands of players pay real money every month to EVE right? It's not like a game that it's out for 13years should be expected to work without dozens of downtime hours right?

So I think we should create a KickREStarted to help them out...Ugh

To be honest, if the server crashing today is the worst thing that happens to you all day you will have an awesome Tuesday im sure.

It's funny that CCP are attempting to compete with games like WoW for the instant gratification crowd and they can't even provide stable servers. That's like one of the minimum expectations for a modern online game. With the state of the game I honestly think CCP should change their mindset from "above-the-competition" superiority, to a "we-got-lucky" keep the good times rolling mentality. Eve seems to be what it is through a great initial concept that has survived countless mismanagements.

I just want to dock my ships....:( not good when the server crash while you are warping thru a gate with 3 hostiles :( do we get that money back? lolShocked

The north American and Eurasian tectonic plates actually border through Reykjavik. Every time I try to log in and encounter connectivity issues with the servers, I fear the worst, as if Iceland was just swallowed by the Atlantic ocean.

The servers are located in the UK.
