I get people are upset over downtime that isn't expected and then when it still might be unstable they login and try to do the thing they were doing before and then wonder why when it crashes they lose 'insert shiny ship here'. Anytime any game has unexpected downtime and I log back in to play I expect to see a few intermittent problems for at least an hour, if in an hours time it seems stable then I believe we're golden. Now the problems with people having actual issues with stuff going haywire that isn't from flying around and being less than intelligent about it right after a problem do deserve some compensation above getting their stuff restored. The rest of us, just give us a tiny allotment of SP and call it a day.

I can only speak for me but I was taught as a kid that:

BEGGING FOR STUFF (like free SP) IS RUDE AS HELL.

Makes me hope none of us get anything for free just to **** you rude little pricks off. I pay too and I do not want us players to get anything outside CCP fixing it; again to **** those select few "gimmie gimmie" types off. I wish the best of luck to CCP and they can take their sweet ass time fixing it because I bet it was a "gimmie gimmie" player who gummed it all up anyway.

Your SP should still be ticking away, as long as you have stuff Q'd up.

EDIT: IMO though, things like jetcans and PI launches should stop ticking away while the server is down.

Was running a 5/10 DED site, I don't think I managed to loot everything because the game started lagging right then. Couldn't even reload my ammo, all I could do was fly away. Will I be able to submit a ticket if I didn't get my loot?

Ah database issues, that is why I go with Oracle on all my Enterprise hardware. I have upgrade to new hardware 3 times in the last 4 years and never had a problem.

Eve Dev's care to convert from MSSQL? Heck even Postgres would be a better upgrade IMO

Haven't been here for 1 year.Come back for 2 weeks but i see lot's of maintaining and plex prices are too high :) lots of problems with the launcher.There were times when eve was giving free SP for such bad days ;)
