To those of you who are fathers, i don't get much time with looking after a 2 year all day but recently i have had plenty of time to play so i thought great i can get on EVE for a change only problem EVE isn't working all ways happens lol

But certainly, CCP could compensate us, the players. We pay for play, not for wait because there's a server throubleshoting or a bad data transfer or a fault adapting the software to the new database hardware... I'm not assumig it's easy... and I'm sure that if CCP keeps us waiting, is because they can't fix it on time; but still... the result is we pay, a we can't play.

Regards and hope it's fixed soon.

For the billiionth time - do you want them to fix the problem or explain every minute how they are fixing the problem? The last time this happened they did a lenthy blog post about it: http://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/behind-the-scenes-of-a-long-eve-online-downtime/

PS. Some compensation will be coming, somehow, always has before. Way back when it was an extra day or two of gametime (because, way back when, it sometiems took several days for the servers actually be playable after a botched update), today they seem to favour the free SP method.

At least they're rather good at provinding SOME kind of updates via these forums and Tweets. Last game I played was notorious for not saying a thing for hours and hours.

Too many players. No one knows where developer is. Many player models are just ugly. No mana. Open PvP is banned. Permadeath. Loot is sux. No mana. Full pay-2-win thing.
