After a long break, are my Hybrids just not worth pursuing?

always running while in bastion, usually running out of bastion because I'm too lazy to turn it on/off. Disconnecting in an easy mission, with only a few npcs left and coming back in hull sucks. If I remember right I was still in shields, or maybe had hit the rep once/twice, one of those kill a few ships get the militants missions. if it wasn't an easy mission the ship probably would have been gone, and that more than sucks.

Would you recommend a med deadspace repper then and just drop cap mods for my fit?

I usually fit 2 tracking comps in the mids with mwd+mjd. for some missions I'll swap something for a cap injector, mostly to feed the MWD. and I usually carry a mobile depot and charges in cargo so if I mess up I can usually get out of it, although I don't think I've ever needed to do that.

maybe keep one cap mod, or swap the cpr for a nano or another magstab. for efficiency probably better to drop it, for lazy mode play style keeping one or two can be worth it.

After years of blitzing L4's with my Rattlesnake, I have become extremely bored. So I decided to get back to my roots as a Gallente pilot and fit a Hybrid ship for some large, in your face blaster fun. That lasted about five minutes because blasters are very high maintenance from what I've been used to. I'm training up some skills for the Kronos and will give that whirl in the near future. For now I'll use a Rail fit Vindicator to be able to apply DPS from range. But man... The raw sound and power of large hybrids is pretty awesome.
