C'mon, everyone can criticize. Everyone is a critic. That doesnt mean you should stop writing anything. Even the best writers had to write their first skewed letter. But they did not stop after first letter.

In other words....

And imagination should have some boundaries in the story because without them its daydreaming. You would not want to break whats known now.

Real, good sci-fi uses areas unknown yet, it surpasses bondaries of known. Some boundaries between known and unknown. Its better for the story, if the story and technologies are set in the fields lacking evidence. Be visionary without breaking the chair you are sitting in.
