Chat channels out of game...

I realize that a lot of people just use skype, farcebook, or any other IM program to stay in touch. But what Im curious of would there be demand to be able to access in game chat channels through out of game measures or.... is there already one that could do such a thing? And no I dont mean evemail but the actual channels we create. Would anyone else care of such a thing? Basically some way of porting it to any IM program or even a stand alone one, or better yet an Eve Gate related one that you could access anywhere you can get internet even if youre not logged into the client.

Im not gonna post in the features and ideas until I know its not just something I personally would like to see happen.

There once was talk about integrating that into the EVE launcher.. Never got beyond just talk..

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

Well the whole idea behind features and ideas -discussion- is obviously that you can find out wether more people would like your idea, and if more people do like it, it might be noticed by CCP and they might eventually implement it. I do wonder why you're worried it will be implemented when only you would like the feature.

I suggest using the forum search feature to look at the myriad other threads where this has been requested/discussed.
