I didn't wish to use the quote I just wanted to take the opportunity to point out to Linus that the correct sentence structure is as follows...

"The literate ARE unlikely to learn much from the illiterate"

I don't care about the downtime, I'm just enjoying knocking people off their third rate educational soapbox....... Twisted

Eh... Do you know the difference between plural and singular? I went with a singular sentence and it makes perfect sense in the context I'm using it in.
Next time you try to educate someone, at least do your homework.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

I had a ticket open yesterday for some trading bug. Might have found some database errors while looking at that.
May be someone lost some items. For example while selling 1 Tritanium I was getting -94 ISK as the result.

Actually, 'the literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate' is proper, as the singular noun forms of literate and illiterate are intended rather than the plural.
