I was thinking --

I am aware that in an upcoming patch WT's will no longer be able to dock at opposing faction stations in highsec. While this makes incredible amounts of sense and why it wasn't done long ago I do not know -- BUT the absolute pile that is stationcamping has become a plague of sorts in certain systems. Professional station campers preying on the less experienced and panic prone pilots just getting their feet wet in FW. It is a big turn off.


Which brings me to my point... That NEUTRAL station defenses for FACTION WARFARE specific stations (where you trade your LP points) is absurd. In lowsec these stations have 1-2 turrets tops, so should be easily setup for camps if you wanted to. But in highsec, the security is understandable... high. But the station defenses are STILL neutral despite them being tied to a faction warfare station.

*****My proposal is for faction stations, to have faction turrets. With the corresponding number of turrets depending on sec status. In lowsec they should not be an issue, but in highsec it'll provide a more stable, lore friendly, sensible (neutral turrets at faction warfare stations is nonsense), safer staging point for FW pilots based in highsec... so long as they stage out of a FW station.*****

The way the turrets would work would be exactly the same way they do now, only additionally they target WT's in range. Perhaps put a delay on them of a few seconds to allow WT's time to recognize the threat and leave.

it's been a topic of discussion in FW chat and on comms. I personally didn't read it but enough people were talking about it that I didn't question it. Supposedly some upcoming patch.
