Yeah, this is an issue with CREST, which I don't have much control over. I thought I put in a reasonable timeout length in but I'll double check it.

I've returned to EVE after a long gap and have started using EVE ISK per Hour to get back into my Industry Role again. But I'm having a real problem understanding how the program works. Is there a tutorial anywhere? When I select a BPO I own it shows me the correct materials needed to manufacture from it, but 'Manufacturing' is the only option in the drop down list of Activities. I'd have thought ME, TE and Copy would have been there, but they aren't. Yet these are valid operations on a BPO (so long as it isn't at max efficiency already of course).
When I select a T2 BP from the list of all BPs Copying and Invention show up as Activities but surely that makes no sense as a T2 BP is already been and invention from a copy of a BPO and can't itself be copied? I'm seriously confused.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The ME/TE/Copy functions are not used in IPH yet because on the Blueprint tab, it's only used to calculate and build the item, not research the blueprints.

For invention purposes, the copy and invention activity for the facility is used to figure out how much it will cost to invent and copy the blueprint as part of the total cost to build the item.

I'm planning on adding a ME/TE/Copy/Invention cost calculator at some point but it's not in the program yet.

Love the new changes! One question though. The CREST market downloads don't seem to provide percentile prices. If you select a percentile price in the Update Prices tab, it appears to chose the min sell or max buy instead. Is this intentional?

I have to manually calculate the percentile for CREST prices and I'm not sure it's the same definition that others use? I think EVE Central uses something different than the top or bottom 5%. I basically find the 95% mark up or down depending and that's the percentile price. I'd appreciate input on if this is what people are expecting because this is what I think of when I think percentiles (and the accepted definition).

My understanding of Eve Central's percentile is the price that would allow you to buy up 5% of the market.

Just downloaded and installed for a first time. Windows 10

It did an update when I first installed it, and then

Got this error

I have a couple issues.
The first is that capital components (armor plates, construction parts, etc) are being calculated in a Thukker component assy array even though I have component assy array with the cap parts box checked in the manufacturing list tab. I know this is the case as when I double click it and it pops over into the blueprints tab it says Thukker and the profit matches the manufacturing tab. I change it to component assy array and of course the profit takes a big hit. I have tried multiple times on both the blueprints and manufacturing list tab to save it to component but it’s not sticking.

Been having issues with SVR data for almost a week now. I update prices from EVE Central and try calculating on the manufacturing list with SVR set to 7 days and I get 1 or 2 BPOs. I change it to 15 days and I get all of my BPOs that are above my SVR threshold. I have tried downloading CCP data and it’s the same thing. When downloading prices I have all items and Jita checked. I have used these settings for a year+ with no issues.

Build 3.2.5895.32258

  • Updated database and images to YC-118-2_1.0
  • Skills should properly load when overriding without having to reload the program
  • The Profit Threshold check on the Manufacturing tab now toggles profit percentage threshold (tri-check)
  • If you save application settings, the program will re-load the current blueprint instead of resetting the form.
  • Double-clicking an item with capital components on the manufacturing tab should now correctly load the cap component facility
  • Stork and Magus Command Destroyers are now properly marked as a Medium Size item for searching purposes.
  • The optimal profit/iph decryptor check box will now save with settings.
  • Updating the price for a single item from CCP Data should now work correctly.
  • Current buy/sell orders on the manufacturing tab will no longer limit by date but live data.
  • Added a timeout check if updating from CCP prices locks up / hangs. Data is saved up to that point so just try your price updates again if you see this error.

This was an error with CREST (CCP data). I tried to throw and error and make sure it won't lock the DB but can't get it to reproduce that error. Let me know if you still have this issue.

On the first issue, the cap component facility wasn't loading on the bp tab correctly. I just put in a fix for that. When you are looking at the facility in the manufacturing tab, make sure you select the cap component facility name to see what array it used to make the cap components. The regular component array won't show that.

On the second issue, the SVR data doesn't come from eve central but from CCP now and is updated automatically when using the tab unless you have it turned off in settings. Double-check the settings and make sure 'Disable SVR updates' isn't checked. Also, set the SVR threshold to 0 and see if that shows more records.

Please check the Prospect's gas retrieving count. Need to limit "Miners count" for him to 2 (now we have 5 what impossible).

I'm back to having issues with Favorites and the Manufacturing List window, specifically that the ME/TE of saved and favorited T2 invented BPCs isn't being honored on the Manufacturing List window. All invented BPCs have the default ME2/TE4 assigned to them.

Thanks for all your work on IPH. It's a great program.

Little thing I would find really useful: I make a lot of bulk invention-only shopping lists for hundreds or thousands of runs of things at a time.

The shopping list shows the estimated number of output BPCs.

What I would really like is if it would show the number of invention runs to perform. It calculated the input materials for the correct (estimated) number of runs, but doesn't say how many that is.

If I'm not using a decryptor, it's fine - just double the BP count. It gets harder with decryptors, though, if only because I can never remember the actual success percentages once those are in play. I usually just save and clear my list, make a new one for the item by itself, and use the number of decryptors as my invention run count, which is cumbersome.

they still seem to be large sized for searching/filtering

edit
also logistic frigates seem to be marked as medium sized

I seem to be unable to load any saved shopping lists, anytime I try I get an error

Cannot read file from disk - Error: Length cannot be less than zero.
Parameter name: length

Edit: If it is of help, I've determined this only appears to happen if I have any item set to be built at an outpost

Ok thanks. The weird thing is that their volume is larger than a battleship, so I have to make special cases.
