Title really says it all. Managed to get myself together 100b over the years.
What would be the best way to have it grow with minimal effort?

Ive done heavy trading before but dont have the time for it now so am looking for something more passive.

Thanks

Patch speculation.

Tho TBH, I'd also seriously consider waiting until the Citadel blueprints cause an increase in the value of liquid ISK, and at that point, buy PLEX.

If your criteria is low effort.

Play the extremities of the peaks and troughs on the market.
Choose a selection of items, that have very spikey history and place buy and sells near top and bottom of the spikes.
Low effort. but your cash is tied up in stock for long periods, very illiquid, but you can liquidate if needed.
Probably won't make as much profit as an intensive trader, but you'll be putting sod all effort in.

Play the long game rollercoaster on basic commodities like minerals, PI mats, & moogoo. The stuff will always be required for manufacture and they tend to go up and down over long periods. Classic example would be Nocxium right now.
Again illiquid, also subject to the whims of CCP e.g. megacyte and zydrine.

PLEX - be careful there may be CCP surprises in the future on this one.

Collateralized loans. Let other do the work for you. Insist on a reputable third party if you don't want to face the liquidation yourself.
I'm sure there's room in here for a decent new type of hedge scam but I've not seen it being used yet.
Buy a large gamble investment e.g. a massive chunk of example Nocxium hoping the price will go up.
Offer the purchased item as collateral on a loan. Maybe overcollateralized at 105%
If the price of the item you bought goes up pay back the loan plus whatever interest you offered, get you collateral back and profit.
If the price of the item goes down, keep the loan money, default on the loan and the investors take the loss for you.
Anyway I digress.....

In my opinion very good advice.

How will that grow his 100 billion? Sure it will put ISK in his wallet, but that 100 billion is still sitting there quite fallow.

Invest it via this sub-forum. Many of the loans here will pay 1.5-2%/month. With 100 billion you can make 1.5-2 billion a month doing nothing. Or loan out 80 billion and keep 20 billion for your own personal use.

Run a reaction farm? Either in safe null, quite low sec, or a corner of wh space if you plan on being around it. You'll have to ship things in and out once or twice a month and you'll want a JF for this, but it's a fairly passive way to have your isk working for you. Just make sure you don't leave the game while your towers are active or else you'll lose a hell of a lot of isk.

Make a plan, stick to it.

Just steer it, when you fail, not when it is not making money in the short run.

Actually, it's far easier to make isk from scamming if you have isk to invest in the scam. Not all scams are "elaborate begging". Some have significant set up costs. Some scams have all the characteristics of a real business, including the need for actual investment.
