Howdy folks.

Just a headsup that NBC2s are ridiculously profitable to build right now, courtesy of a couple of huge buyups of them that my friends in CODE. and Miniluv have carried out.

I'm sure you folks can use this information to your advantage.

Don't trust me, check the numbers first.

As were 425mm railgun IIs when CFC railgun megathrons started being a thing, for about a week, and had so much overproduction as a result that it took over a year for prices to rise to a reasonably profitable level.

You could just do a WTB post if you don't know any industrialists...

Hence the point of this "helpful" tip. ;)

This is why people should reassess what they build constantly.

This post is in good faith - production cycles are short on these blasters, and most of the capital investment is late in the piece, so if the market reacts to overproduction, you can extract cheaply unless sharp falls happen during the 9 hours the NBC2s actually take to build (13 in a station).

They look 1/2 as profitable as some of the items in my current production line... but I always appreciate hearing new suggestions and recommendations.
Thanks for posting!

Totally not cashing out on the Robotics I see.

This was the reason I chose Robotics over different PI materials for my stockpiling.

IIRC I purchased about 120000 units of Robotics back when they were 67k and I was telling others to buy them. I've turned *all* of those into blasters except for the last 15000 that are in my production station.

It's funny that the *actual* market manipulation post I did was never called out as one (paying someone else to write up a how-to guide to PI and posting it in the New Citizens Q&A section of the forums to depress the price of Robotics) but this post which was intended as actual good advice (albeit with the stated ulterior motive of lowering CODE.'s operating costs) gets called out as manipulation.

Never change Sabriz. I for one enjoy your often interesting posts that delve deeper into some interesting market topics in EVE. Just know that some of us silent lurkers really enjoy reading your thoughts on market topics.

FWIW this reminds me that I should probably revive that post now that I'm no longer hoarding Robotics. It made a bunch of newbies some ISK, and it saved CODE. some ISK, and I made some money on the side too.

Checked. 18.01.2016 over 8 milions ISK, now - barely 6 milions and falling. Costs including invention: 6,5 milions. OP, thats a low quality scam, what you doing now.

They were selling (at the time of post) for more than 4.65m. Fuzzworks didn't adjust to the spike in price. I've moved a bunch at 5.6m although that will only be temporary. 4.75 is where I expect them to trend.

Also Fuzzworks has Robotics at 99k when there are large numbers available at 89.5k. Someone has spiked them in Jita, but this is localised to Jita and will thus be unstable. Also someone's spiked Particle Accelerator Units - they are 29k on sell orders right now, but buy orders at 25k *will* get filled.

Cost per successful invention for a Symmetry-decrypted 12 run BPC (what I've been building these from) - 2327k per 12 runs invention cost (all science skills at 3).

Material costs per 12 NBC2:

- Invention 2.327m
- Minerals for NBC1 about 19m
- Robotics x160 about 14.4m
- Morphite x172 about 2m
- Particle Accelerator Unit x400 about 10m (12m at present spiked price)
- Science line hours: about 6
- Production line hours: about 13 (between the T1 and T2 parts)

Add 2% if not building in a POS.

= 47m at spiked prices, 44 at stable ones for 12 blasters you can sell for 60m in Dodixie or 55m elsewhere
