Is there any way for you to speed up server status updates? Just now, EVEMon notified me that TQ is down, but the launcher still shows online and 25k people on the server. I'm pretty certain that the old launcher was quicker with updating the server status.

As I mention the server list: What do you think about moving that into the black bar on the left side that has this huge empty area above the Account icon? Turn that field into a 3 line box (Server name | Players online | Server status) and make the drop down menu appear to the side of that box, or even below as it is as the box can only display one server anyways.
The thing is that I see even less of the launcher than you see in the above mock-up. The rest of the launcher is usually hidden by other windows (browser, folders, coms, ...), and with them the important information of the server status. As it stands the server list also just floats around in that corner and has no/different interaction animation than the other elements have. Moving the server list into the black bar would use up more empty space in that menu bar and by adding the splash effect the other icons in that bar have to this list would add a bit more unification to the UI of the launcher.

Can no longer play thanks to error codes every time i try to launch the game. I've even installed the game fresh as of this evening, no change. New launcher doesn't feel right ... not the look of it, it's utility etc.
As usual with CCP, if it's not broke. fix it. If it is broke, ignore it. If the customers complain, forget them.

Also, as of tonight, is the server rejecting connections via port 2600?
