A holovid has surfaced, at first on in the corridors of the stations of Syndicate, gossiped about by spacers and stationfolk alike. Next, it appeared on the streets of cities on Intaki, and then the Intaki colonies throughout Placid, something to be speculated on by edgy, dissatisfied youth but not taken seriously by authorities. When the recording began appearing on the streets of cities throughout the Federation and Republic, even appearing in the Caldari State and coming to the attention of the Ministry of Internal Order, people began to take notice.

The recording features Charlinda Akheteru, the Syndicate-born Intaki CEO of Akheteru Integrated Astrometrics and the Chieftess and Caravan Master of the Thukker Clan Du'uma Fiisi, standing behind a podium on a small dais. She is alone atop the Dais, but underlying her words, a crowd of shouting voices is audible, rising to a crescendo as the Intaki woman's speech rolls on. The holovid is dated YC118.2.6.

Forbidden by the Gallente Federation to colonize any planet, the people of the Intaki Syndicate have for two centuries been bound to a loose confederacy of Station-States in the lawless wasteland of Syndicate. Our Governors have had to abide by pacts engineered by the Diabel family with groups as unsavory as the Serpentis Corporation in order to protect our people from the gravest threats we faced. We have had to rely on the trickling in of exiles and criminals to maintain a population genetically diverse enough to survive, for who but exiles and criminals would want to live amongst the Intaki of the Syndicate? Who but exiles and criminals would choose to be station-bound, rather than breathing the fresh, clean, free air of the Federation, Republic, State or even Empire?

We have endured two hundred years of demonization in the eyes of the entire Cluster, denigrated by Federation propaganda designed to ensure that the rest of the free peoples of New Eden would continue to turn a blind eye on their treatment of our people - a people exiled for belief in our own freedom! The Federation's propaganda machine would cast us as the very architects of the black markets and illicit activities our leaders have been forced to tolerate, lest our stagnant and isolated little station economies falter and die altogether - forced to tolerate, lest we all starve to death in the hollow tritanium tombs in the rear end of null security space that the Gallente Federation has sentenced us to! No more.

No longer shall we be the victims of Serpentis bullies on our own stations. No longer shall we be bound by the criminal edicts of a vengeful Federation. The Federation's Navy has no power here! Their edicts cannot control our future anymore! Here, in Tirtha, we have founded a New Intaki! A new future for the diaspora of our people!

The Tirtha Assembly, our central governing body, invites any Syndicate-born Intaki to leave the stations of the Syndicate region behind and settle on New Intaki. Diaspora City has plenty of space for you, our construction crews are adding dozens of residential dwelling spaces each and every day. There are jobs for you here, a school for your children, a population already close to one hundred thousand strong, waiting for your arts and your crafts.

There is also room for Placid-born Intaki, and anyone else who wishes to leave the Four Empires behind and start new lives in Tirtha. All prospective immigrants not of Syndicate origin will be subject to intensive background checks, however; we will not be saddled down with the criminal detritus of the Empires in Tirtha, the way that we have been in Syndicate.

This is the day that we have dreamed of for centuries! Intaki of the Syndicate, it is time to come Home.

The recording ends with a very earnest-looking Charlinda leaning against the podium, grip white-knuckle tight upon its edges and staring directly at the camera drone. The Scope and, ANN and other mainstream media outlets all report that they did not receive any copies of this recording; apparently, its distribution was meant to follow more organic paths...

Take it for what it's worth, but good luck.

You're gonna need it.

Claiming independence is not as hard as gaining it.
Gaining independence is not as hard as keeping it.

Obviously I wish the Intaki people the best of luck in their new endeavour. It is every races right to achieve their destiny.

So, you're only inviting a single bloodline, and only those elements within that bloodline that you decide are 'pure' enough.
I'm sure the cluster has seen this before.

I wouldn't call The Syndicate demonized but its matter of perspective.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. In the final paragraph of the address, I said:

We already have citizens of Minmatar, Caldari, Gallente, Jin-Mei, Khanid and Ni-Kunni descent. I understand that the address was given in my native Intaki, but our language is common enough that your translation software should have had little to no trouble deciphering my speech.

you invite syndicate intaki, and placid born intaki (so long as they pass your checks).

Intaki.

Not Matari, Gallente, Amarrian, Caldari, or any other bloodline within those empires.
Please, show me where, in your speech, you invite any other bloodline or race?

In fact. no. don't. I have no more time for this.

Takedi-haan, calm yourself. It's hardly recumbent upon her to offer a welcome to those of other races she doesn't wish to share living space with. You act as if she would be insulting us by doing so, but if anyone should be able to respect the need for a place to call your own, it would be the Caldari, ne?

Do you have comprehension skills? Mr. Akheteru has already extended his invitation to 'anyone else who wishes to leave the Four Empires behind and start new lives in Tirtha'. Note the 'anyone else'. Are you looking to be outraged for no reason at all?

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.
