Mission running in different security

Okay despite the fact i have been playing for a while, i have what i assume will be a really stupid question but i will ask it anyway.

With regards to mission running, are the missions harder the lower the security rating or are they roughly the same? I ask because i have never ventured into low-sec or null to find out.

I await comments and/or abuse with muted anticipation....Lol

A L4 mission will be the same difficulty regardless of the system security rating. The rewards will be higher. The increased risk comes from people trying to gank you in lowsec and null.

For most gain without that much increased risk, is by doing level 4 missions in 0.5 security systems.

I currently do exactly that but was wondering if the rewards were higher in the lower sec areas..which apparently they are but with higher risk as i guess it should be.

Also, if you mission in low security areas you can work for pirate agents who give interesting rewards.

I believe that would be in NPC Null space, not low sec, though if I am wrong please feel free to correct me

Nope, you're right. No pirate agents in low; only NPC null.
