Cap escalations and the new cap update

Has there been any word on this yet? I can imagine us seeing cap escalations going either way with this new Spring update, maybe we'll have hexa-escalations or maybe we'll see escalations getting ruined with 2000 dps dreads and a blue loot nerf or something.

I'm sure a lot of w-space is wondering the same thing about these, I just hope CCP aren't leaving it until the last minute before the update so we can all evict ourselves from wormholes at the same time! :P

I think the best thing is to wait for the CSM-minutes. They had a wormhole-session, hopefully they had some ideas about escalations after the new capitals

Pretty safe bet that cap escalations will be removed, either directly or functionally, in their current form.

Jack!! Still catching up on all the changes going on. Holy crap.. Lets be honest, even if they removed cap escalations. Would it really make you leave WH space?

I know I have not lived in them for a while. But there is something about them that I miss and love.

i would imagine CCP keeping cap escals, but it will be a different approach, its simply no more triage carriers, welcome force auxillaries ( FAX, FAUX) these are a designated logistics ship for the capital class

The CSM minutes mentioned NPC capitals, maybe we get one of those as a escalation?

No local in null sec would fix everything!

I can't see them getting rid of escalations or the income you make from them. I can see them making it more difficult, maybe near impossible, to run escalations solo.

Read the CSM minutes and was disappointed that no one followed up on the NPC capitals mention. IMHO thats where the future of escalations is headed. Keeps dreads relevant since sub-cap tracking will be nerfed. Wondering if this is the escalation of the future if a FAX will spawn an additional wave. 6 wave escalations anyone?

considering the game files have had a sleeper "anti-cap" wreck lying around for a couple patches now, i'm going to assume cap escalations will be getting some kind of high-dps high HP rat for whenever caps are warped to sites.

Rorq also makes a pretty decent cap repair ship and can easily tank up to 13ish bs in a c6 before you need to speed tank ;)
