Forums SSO broken for some accounts/chars

Some accounts seem unable to log into the forums.

It is possible to access the forum while not logged in but after entering user/password they are redirected to:

https://forums.eveonline.com/error.htm?aspxerrorpath=/default.aspx

Deleting all cookies seems to solve the problem for some of the accounts, but after trying to log in with one of the broken accounts the problem re-appears.

I first noticed this problem about 14 hours ago.


This would probably affect only users that would log into the forums with multiple accounts.

This is also affecting me. I had to log in on my phone, swap active characters, log out, log back in on my pc and it works. If however, I switch back to my main character I get the "we've been ganked!" 404 screen. Very annoying. Clearing browser cache and cookies works briefly but problem persists after logging in on main character again.

I've tried different browsers with the same results, currently using Chrome. Any help would be appreciated.

Same here. After yesterdays extended DT, my main has been unable to access the forum and mail via the website. This is across all platforms. Phone, PC, ingame browser. After reading this thread and a mail from someone else with the same issue, I've managed to get this second character active to post. But the friend who mailed me couldn't even do that.

It's obviously something CCP did yesterday and I have feeling many more are affected. But not everyone has been successful in getting around the problem.

With this account, once logged in I can access my mail / forums without issue.

If I log out and log back in with my main account credentials, I get the "We've been ganked" forum message and a generic error when accessing eve gate related services.

I've cleared cache's, removed all Eve online cookies, tried 3 different browsers, but the results are always the same. Even tried it on a totally different machine, so assume it must be related to the account?

If i access the site in Private Browsing / Incognito modes, it works fine, again until I log in then the errors start, but only for a specific account.

Obviously, I am unable to post with my main character and this situation is such an obvious fail it pains me.

Same here. 3 of 4 accouts are silenced by the CCP tyrannical machine of oppression.

Probably a way to get more traffic over to starfleetcomms in the uk and/or to store.eveonline.com (camo as evelopedia)

Same issue here. Had to sue an aaccount that hadn't logged into forums for months (this) since my usual accounts are all getting the "ganked" message.

It wouldn't be !!CCP!! if updating the security server wouldn't just leave xx% of the players out of the forums. Lol

Q: Should we be worried? A: Nope. (...) Worry a lot if Fozzie, Masterplan, Rise, Veritas, Bettik, Ytterbium, Scarpia, Arrow, or even Greyscale leaves. Worry a little if Punkturis, karkur, SoniClover, Affinity, Goliath, or Xhagen leaves.

As the issue has been fix (Emergency Rollback) Please clear your cache and wait one hour (sucks I know ) and then try to log in. If you still get this issue after following the above steps, please file a support ticket. If you can't file a support ticket email support@eveonline.com with your Account name and a description of the issue.

I will lock this thread and direct further responses to this thread which CCP is actively viewing.
