Hello, I want to run DED 4/10 and 5/10 complexes. My question is T3 cruiser or battlecruiser ? What battlecruisers are best for running complexes ?

Im interested only in Amarr ships.
My focus is on Sansha complexes.
All ship fits for my situation is appreciated. Bear

If you want to do 4/10s and 5/10s you're stuck with a battlecruiser. T3s can't go into 4/10s.

If you want ot do 5/10s and 6/10s, T3.

4/10s tend to want range (though I'll admit I've never run the Sansha version). This isn't a universal.

5/10s tend to require tank. The last rooms can be brutal.

6/10s -- and this is very true of the Sansha 6/10 -- require damage to break the overseer.

If you want to do 4-5/10s a Stratios works. Abso should be ok but range is meh. You might be able to overheat an Oracle long enough to kill the 5/10 overseer. Maybe. That's touch and go.

If you want to do 5-6/10s I'd take a beam Legion. I've splatted a fit around before that runs about a billion; upgrade or downgrade from there.

If you can use missiles, the Sacrilege is quite decent and won't leave a big mark on your bank account.

I personally use a zealot for 4/10, I can mail you my fit tonight
As for anything bigger I use a dual rep AB legion (with probes as well)

Blood/Sansha 4/10s can be run extremely fast in a simple beam snipe confessor which is what I would recommend for those since it's cheap and warps fast.

I use a PvP Typhoon for 5-6/10s for both Blood and Sansha. It is one of the cheapest and highest dps options around and if someone comes into your site which is always a threat in lowsec, you can fight back very well.

It's basically a kiting Cruise missile fit. This isn't a face tank sit at 0 type ship, it takes a little getting used to run the sites effectively. However I've been using it for awhile and I'm able to run both the 5 and 6/10s for Blood and Sansha without using a single cap booster and only 3-4 cycles of anci rep with paste in it (24-32 units of paste). I basically MJD away from the beacon and keep at the edge of my range and kill everything, I tend to keep the anci rep empty and just pulse it here and there to rep up random damage you take from things like cruise/sentry batteries. Faction missiles will hit cruisers for full damage, drones for frigs and use fury for the battlecruisers and battleships. It does 977dps cold with fury and drones which is alot and most fully dedicated PvE fits have less than that. However the last rooms tend to be quite painful and I load paste into the anci rep for those just to get a couple cycles off while I blap the final rat.

As for PvP capability, the cruise missile have surprisingly good application to Cruisers due to the Phoons hull bonus as well as the rigor rig. MJD means inties can't hold you down at long point range, web is extremely useful both offensively and defensively. I've since upgraded to a FN Web for the extra range. If you web + neut cruisers down and shoot faction missiles at them most cruisers will melt. The Phoon is quite fast to and can almost hit 2km/s with heat. Also due to plex mechanics you can force enemies to burn at you and waste cap as well as get separated.

A great ship and a fun tactic to use.

I'll second that. It's a powerful little ship.

There is obviously a reading comprehension failure here somewhere, but the fit looks good.
