Afternoon everyone,

Hope everything is good for everyone.

Today is a good day for me, got a call from a company I use to work for in the past who offered me a job. Rate of pay is lower than what I normally get but since I'm currently in-between jobs it's better than nothing, right?

Anyway, have orientation set up for tomorrow morning, they want me to start as soon as possible. Job is QC Inspection at ExxonMobile in Torrance, CA. About 20 minute drive from my house.

The company I'm currently employed with pays more but work with them is kinda slow right now and I'll definitely take another job with them when work picks up. I can also go back on tools and do Steamfitter work through my Union if needed so I do have some options available.

Just salt the pan a little. The rendering fat from the beef should provide plenty of grease to cook in (note, pan should be hot when you put the beef patties in).

Let it brown up the side and then flip.

When its all nice and cooked looking give the top a gentle push with your spatula or whatever tool your using. If the fluids come out clear, its done. Red/pink, not done. Of course, it also depends on where in the rare <-> well done spectrum you like your burgers.



Hey thanks! THAT was missing! The pan wasn't hot enough when I added the burguers... that explains why cooking one side took longer than the other and neither was nice.
